15 Hr. Drug Class: DRUG OFFENDER EDUCATION PROGRAM - d.O.E.P

DOEP CLASS POLICIES:

***Registration and payment must be completed at least 48 hours prior to class. Payment for class by Cash, Money Order or Debit/Credit Card via Square.

***If student cancels class 48 hours or more prior to class start, fee will be refunded less $25. Students who do not attend class forfeit the entire fee.
Students who reschedule, must do so 48 hours or more prior to class. A fee of $40 will be charged to reschedule. Student must come to classroom to reschedule and pay reschedule fee.
***Attendance is required at all sessions as scheduled. Missing a class requires that the student start over and pay again.
***Late arrivals may be denied entrance and be required to start over and pay again.
Use of cell phones, tablets, lap-tops, and other electronic devices are prohibited while class is in session.
***Disruptive students will be asked to leave and fees forfeited.
***All forms, tests, and workbooks must be completed as required by state rule.
***Duplicates for lost certificates are $20 each.
***Guests, children, and pets are not allowed in classroom.
***Use of tobacco and tobacco alternative products are prohibited in the classroom.

State Approved 15 Hr. Drug Offender Education Program Austin, Tx / DOEP Class Overview:

***Impact Education Center in Austin, TX is a State of Texas and Court Approved Provider of the state's 15 hour Drug Offender Education Program Course, also known as the DOEP Class.

***The standardized program is 15 hours in length and is designed to increase the knowledge of drug offenders by educating them on the dangers of drug abuse and associated illegal activities, to identify their own individual drug-use patterns, and to assist them in developing a personal action plan which will reduce the probability of suffering the consequences of future drug using and illegal behavior.

***Specific course topics include history of drug abuse, drug/DWI laws, dynamics of drug use, drugs of abuse, how drugs work, cost of use and abuse, health issues, HIV, interpersonal relationships, deglamorization of drugs, values and behaviors, past and desired behaviors, getting control of your life, resource options, and personal action planning. (Not applicable to deferred adjudication).​

***The course fee is $125, payable in cash, money order or credit/debit card via The Square.
